Legnum VR4
The dream car. Twin-turbo 6A13TT, INVECS-II four-speed auto, AWD, station wagon — a Mitsubishi rocket with a roof rack mount. Almost none of these are left in Australia.
JDM builds, farm life, and a halal snack pack on the side. Six cars, one paddock, and a workshop that smells like two-stroke and last night's chilli sauce.
I'm Josh — a tradie-turned-broker turned content-builder out in regional Victoria, building cars that shouldn't exist and documenting the lot for anyone who wants to watch.
Spent years in workshops, more years behind a desk, and most weekends with my hands black. RURALJDM started because Australia has plenty of metro JDM channels and almost no one filming what happens when you drag a twin-turbo Legnum, an '87 Pintara, and a Barra-swap Territory donor onto a paddock and let the cameras roll.
The content stitches three lives together — JDM rarity (Legnum VR4, Pintara wagon, 380), farm life (off-grid solar, small-engine servicing, rural everything), and a HSP review tacked onto every road trip. There's no schtick. It's just what the week looked like.
One bloke, six cars, a shed, and a long list of half-finished projects. Welcome in.
Every build on the channel comes from this list. Some run. Some don't. Most have a roll cage in their future.
The dream car. Twin-turbo 6A13TT, INVECS-II four-speed auto, AWD, station wagon — a Mitsubishi rocket with a roof rack mount. Almost none of these are left in Australia.
RACV yellow. Future drift car. The long-running build series the channel keeps coming back to — every video is another step closer to the first slide.
Turbo diesel daily and the channel's most reliable cameo. Runs hard, hauls everything, complains constantly. Workhorse with character.
RWD paddock bomb and future Barra-swap donor. Lives outside, earns every scar, and has plans the rest of the fleet doesn't know about yet.
Lilli's dream car. Euro-flavoured project on the long-burn list. It'll get its turn — every garage needs a soft-top.
Lilli's daily. Aussie-built, Aussie-driven, properly underrated. Big sedan energy from the last great Adelaide-built Mitsubishi.
Every product below is something I actually own and run. No paid placements in this list — if it's here, it's because it does the job on my cars, my farm, or in my edit bay.
If you're a brand whose product would honestly fit the workshop, the property, or the road trips — let's talk. No sponsor placements I wouldn't pay for myself.
RURALJDM stacks four under-served angles into one channel: rare JDM platforms, a working rural property as a filming location, a six-car build fleet, and HSP reviews on the road. Audience skews regional-metro Australian, male, 18–45, hands-on.
Media kit available on request. Open to product trades, paid integrations, affiliate codes, and long-term ambassador roles.
Every channel.
One place.
Builds live on YouTube. Short edits and behind-the-scenes go to TikTok and Instagram. The second channel is for the longer detours.
